Why Kaliyoga works so well as your retreat venue
The venue was founded over 20 years ago by two yoga teachers from London, Jonathon & Rosie Miles, creating a sanctuary far from the madding crowd. The wholesome nature of the property and its location is built around a team of experienced staff, who help to deliver retreats that meet and exceed the expectations of your guests.
A dedicated practice space
A yoga shala with panoramic mountain views and around 90 square metres of practice space. Fully equipped with everything you need from sound to yoga equipment.
An ideal group size
Kaliyoga can sleep up to 16 participants in 10 private ensuite rooms. For the retreat leaders, private treatment rooms in the studio building can double up as accommodation. View all main bedrooms on the gallery page.
Nourishing, seasonal food
100% vegetarian meals served three times a day, with snacks, teas and coffee. Seasonal, locally sourced, with vegan and gluten-free options.
Holistic therapies
Our team of expereinced practitioners offer full body somatic massage with oils, Myofascia release massage, Sound healing, Mizan abdominal healing, Japanese Kobido massage, Cranio Sacral healing, Bio-Resonance healing, Self-discovery Coaching and much more. Treatments for your participants are available on request during your retreat.
Exclusive use of the venue
There is plenty of peaceful outdoor space to relax between sessions – in the garden, private verandas, sun loungers by the pool, a swing-seat overlooking the Sierra Lujar. Near the pool is a four-person infra red sauna with lush views, great for Nordic hot and cold dipping.
Magical location
No main roads for several kilometers – nature hikes are all around Kaliyoga – mountain hikes with a guide, olive groves and guided walks in nature. Or try horse riding and excursions further afield to Alhambra Palace and the beach. Learn more.

Our Yoga Studio : 90 sq m.
The climate controlled yoga studio is suitable for yoga, dance, meditation, sound healing, acoustic instruments. The building was custom designed using structural straw bale walls for natural insulation and an arched ceiling that provides for a clear floor space. Floor-to-ceiling windows provide fresh air and panoramic views.

PLANNING AND HOSTING YOUR RETREAT
Our team will be at hand during the day to help you with the setup, arrivals and to support you with delivering a safe guest experience. We can also arrange airport transfers for your group.
THE LITTLE DETAILS
You’ll get excellent service from our in-house staff. We take care of everything down to the little details such as printed guest information folders with your retreat schedule, room cleaning, mid-week towel change, flowers in bedrooms, replenishing the fresh fruit bowl, and all day teas and infusions.

Kaliyoga is rightly proud to offer holistic treatments from a team of highly skilled practitioners. Also, we can arrange activities and excursions for your participants, such as local nature walks, guided hikes in the mountain, a trip the Alhambra Palace, or a picnic in the grounds of O Sel Ling Tibetan meditation centre.

Retreat accommodation and room configuration
Ten climate-controlled double rooms, all en-suite, and two large teepees offer ample space to host your group. Additionally, there are two treatment rooms that can double up as accommodation the event leaders.
In the main house there is an L-shape open plan sitting room with wood beams, giving easy access to the gardens, pool area and inner courtyard. There’s also a cosy parlour/library room for meditation and private consultations.
